The Best For Last

John 2:10- Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine . . . but you have saved the best till now.”

As this year comes to an end, many may be reflecting on their wins and losses and planning or looking for what’s next. Some may be simply counting their blessings and grateful despite losses or wins.

What if even with a few hours left in the year, you have yet to see the best God has to offer. That your biggest "win" is not even close to the "win" God has in store for you. Not much time is needed, all is needed is faith as little as a mustard seed. It is easy to lose hope when you see all the choice prizes taken. Or only expect the cheap wine to be served when the choice wine is finished. But what if the best is still yet to come. That it was left till now, till today.

Today’s verse is a reminder “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine . . . but you have saved the best till now.” God saves the best for last.

Dear Father,

Thank you for the reminder that you save the best for last. That sometimes the very thing we are looking for, is the one thing we can't see.” I pray that all your children do not lose hope despite the year they have had. That they remember you are still in the miracle-working business and you often save the best for last. I ask this in your son Jesus’ name. Amen!

Here is a special invitation for you. If you have not declared Jesus Lord as your savior, here is your opportunity to do so before this year is up. Romans 10:9-10 says: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Lo Mejor Para El Final

Juan 2:10 (NVI) - “Todos sirven primero el mejor vino y, cuando los invitados ya han bebido mucho, entonces sirven el más barato; pero tú has guardado el mejor vino hasta ahora”.

A medida que este año llega a su fin, muchos pueden reflexionar sobre sus victorias y derrotas y planificar o buscar lo que sigue. Algunos pueden estar simplemente contando sus bendiciones y agradecidos a pesar de las pérdidas o victorias.

¿Qué pasa si incluso con unas pocas horas restantes en el año, aún no has visto lo mejor que Dios tiene para ti? Que tu mayor victoria ni siquiera se acerca a la victoria que Dios te tiene reservado. No se necesita mucho tiempo, todo lo que se necesita es fe, tan pequeño como una semilla de mostaza. Es fácil perder la esperanza cuando vez que todos los mejores premios han sido elegidos. O solo espere que se sirva el vino barato cuando el vino elegido se ha terminado. Pero qué pasa si lo mejor aún está por venir. Que esperaba hasta ahora, hasta hoy.

Gracias por el recordatorio de que guardas lo mejor para el final. "Que a veces lo que estamos buscando es lo que no podemos ver ”. Rezo de que todos tus hijos no pierdan la esperanza a pesar del año que han tenido. Que recuerden que todavía estás en el negocio de hacer milagros y que a menudo guardas lo mejor para el final. Te pido esto en nombre de tu hijo Jesús. ¡Amén!
