Stand United

“Two heads are better than one, not because either is infallible, but because they are unlikely to go wrong in the same direction.” - C.S. Lewis

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV) -
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
Have you ever considered that isolating yourself from others is a form of vanity? Even trying to do things yourself is a sign of conceit and self righteousness. We all need each other. Proverbs 18:1 says: “Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.”

Even some of us that know God’s word forget that God is always there helping us. When the lights shines on us, we elevate to another level or achieve a goal or fame, we take all the credit. I am not saying that we haven’t put in the work, but we can’t forget that God is our constant helper. He is showing us to work together. No one stands alone. I have always appreciated teamwork as many have helped me along this journey called life. Doing things together makes the victory even sweeter.

Today’s Reflection is a reminder that two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. I encourage you today to read Ecclesiastes 4 and work together. You are stronger together than apart. Stand United!
Dear God,

Thank you for the reminder that two are better than one. So if one falls, the other can help the other up. This way we have a good return for our labor. I pray that all your children take this reminder to heart, two are better than one. Stand united. I ask this in your son Jesus’ name.
Amen!
