Romans: 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own Love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Can you imagine someone loving you so much that they sacrifice their life for your sin? A sin not yet committed. If that is not love, then I don’t know what is love. We are all loved by God no matter what we have done or will do. As you celebrate, reflect and connect today, may you experience gratitude, peace, joy and love.
Not everyone believes their truth, knows their worth or even embrace their power. God wants all of us to embrace the freedom and power he has given each of us. He doesn’t want us to remain prisoners to our past or our current sins.
The scripture says, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. If you would like to know Christ, all you have to do is pray this aloud, Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. Come into my heart. Wash me clean. I make you my Lord and Savior, Amen”
Today’s scripture serves as a reminder that God demonstrates his own Love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Thank you Lord for sacrificing your life for us.
Dear God,
Thank you for the reminder that you demonstrated your love by dying for us. That you long to save, free and empower all of us. I pray that all your children accept your love, the freedom, and the power you offer by dying for us all. I ask this in your son Jesus’ name. Amen!
