Psalm 126:2-3 - Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
What is your attitude towards your life? Do you start your day with gratitude, laughter, living and loving life or do you start your day with worry, ingratitude, a frown, regret and un-forgiveness? I met this young man that shared his decision to accept life as it comes, good or bad he would be grateful. He understood that life would be good and bad but ultimately it is all for our good. My thought was simply what wisdom at such a tender age of 18. I also thought, I wish I had the same wisdom at his age. However this is his story not mine. (LOL)
Yes, troubles come our way time and time again. However, I realize that our attitude toward life determines life’s attitude towards us. I am intentional in paying attention to how I and others around me embrace life. It even happened this morning, as I was running late for the train, I decided that God was in control and if I made the train or not, it was his decision. I let go and let God... I made it to train with 30 seconds to spare (LOL.) Yes, a small example. We must trust God in the small and the big things… in all. What I mighty God we serve.
Today’s verse is a reminder to fill our mouths with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. I encourage you today to live, laugh, love and be grateful.
Dear God,
Thank you for the reminder to fill my mouth with laughter and our tongues with songs of joy. I pray that all your children fill their mouths with laughter and their tongues with songs of joy. Then they will say among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. That they live, laugh and love. I ask this in your son Jesus’s name. Amen
Learn it. Live it. Lead it.
