Several wise people have shared with me that you come to this world with nothing and you leave with nothing. If I truly understood this concept a few decades ago, seems living a simple life would have been a good choice. The less you have, the less you have to release. The simpler your life. It seems the saying Keep It Simple Silly (KISS) are words of wisdom to pass on. Lao Tzu is quoted as saying: I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures. Today’s verse is a reminder that, therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? I encourage you to read Matthew 6. Simplify!
