Gratitude Day #30
Verses for today: Psalm 118:29 and Philippians 4:6
Today I am happy and grateful for noticing what I am noticing. That after 30 consecutive days of this grateful leader experience that I learned that experiencing gratitude daily is a choice. You chose to spend your days focusing on the 10 percent that is going wrong in your life, or pour most of your energy into being grateful for the 90 percent that is going right in your health, relationships, vocation, time/money freedom and your spirituality. That you can work on improving the 10 percent step by step rather than complaining about it. Imagine applying this lesson to the way you lead others?
Through this journey practicing gratitude this past month, it brought to light characteristics that highlight ingratitude in leadership. Some of these include self-importance (lack of humility), arrogance, seeking admiration, seeking approval, lack of compassion, entitlement, vanity, resentful, envy, judgmental, just to mention a few. As you move forward in expressing gratitude daily, beware of these characteristics, they could easily wipe out all the progress you made during this 30-day grateful leader experience.
I invite you to a grateful leader Zoom call on Wednesday December 2 at 7:30 pm to hear your reflections about this experience and answer any questions you may have or provide any further support you need. No reservation required. If you are not able to attend the call, please email your thoughts and questions to Ilka@corporate-gold.com . I look forward to seeing you on the call on Wednesday or receiving your note.

My sincere and heartfelt gratitude to each of you for joining this 30-day grateful leader experience. I hope it was beneficial to you and helps you finish this year strong and walk into 2021 more positive, vibrant, and stronger than ever. Gratitude changes everything including your perspective. Lead the way!
Learn it. Live it. Lead it.
