Gratitude Day #12
Verses for today: Matthew 5:14-15 and Ephesians 5:8
Today I am happy and grateful for light.
Light can be described as a source of illumination, whether a natural one (like the sun), an artificial one (like your lamp), or a human light that comes from within you. The light for which I am grateful is the latter.
As a leader, psst...yes you (we are all leaders,) has your light ever been extinguished? Do you recalled the person or people that helped re-ignite your light? If you do, take time today to call or send a note of gratitude to that person or group of people (aka tribe) that helped rekindled your flame when your light went out.
I leave you with this song that comes to mind as I thought of those who helped rekindle my light. This little light of mine, I am going to let it shine, let it shine, let it shine...
