Gratitude Day #22
Verses for today: Nehemiah 8:10 and James 1:2-4
Today I am happy and grateful for challenges.
The beauty of this challenge is that I get to show up for today, not yesterday or tomorrow. This morning I woke up very early (most of you by now, already know how early that is, LOL.) I thanked God for the new day, prayed, did my five gratitudes and fell back to sleep. When I woke up the second time, the five things changed to this one thing, I am grateful for challenges. Once I awake, pray and list the things am grateful for, I usually proceed to write a reflection or now, write the gratitude reflection. I instead fell asleep. Yep, that was a challenge for me today, staying awake.
It is said that challenges build strength and character. I guess I am still growing and building my character (Shrugging my shoulders)...This growth and character building thing never ends. (Smile) Paulo Coelho says when we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change. Isn’t that the truth! This experience is definitely doing that for me. Be grateful for each new challenge, it is helping you grow and become who you are meant to be.
What challenge have you recently faced that you can honestly say is helping you build your character, courage, and willingness to change?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Learn it. Live it. Lead it.
