Grateful Leader 30-Day Experience -Day #20

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Gratitude Day #20

Verses for today: 1 Corinthians 3:7 and Hebrews 6:1

Today I am happy and grateful for personal and vocational growth. Growth, the process is not pretty, it is sometimes complex, and at times you may even try to flee from it. No one can escape it. You are not meant to be stuck in a chapter of your life that feels the most comfortable. Like a seed, you must breakthrough the ground and grow.

I thought of the saying “Thank God it is Friday” (TGIF.) For a season in my life, I thought Fridays and weekend days were the only days to be thankful for. The other days reserved for school or regular work should be dreaded. (LOL) Who can relate? Now that I have a better understanding of life, I now know to be grateful for every single day gifted. To thank God for each day as tomorrow is not promised. Growth!

Gratitude helps to propel your growth in all areas of your life.

What are you grateful for this week? Has expressing gratitude daily for almost three consecutive weeks changed any area of your life? I look forward to hearing from you.
